Retired after almost 40 years of working at the same job and running her own wedding photography business for 15 years on the side, Linda loves those 7 day weekends. She has been taking pictures on weekends for over 25 years and now she can do it every day. Her photography has taken on a few new dimensions since retirement. Her Red Hat Chapter provides a wealth of fun events to photograph.
The age of digital has given a whole new meaning to “The Joy of Photography”. The satisfaction of seeing your photos instantly and the ability to make slide shows in the blink of an eye instead of storing all of those photo albums and slide trays has opened up a lot of closet space for all her Red Hat paraphernalia.
Her latest passions are assembling custom photo books and digital slide shows instead of photo albums. Her award winning compositions have attracted a few contracts, especially for her “Life Story” compositions. After all, why not create your own memorial, and celebrate your life’s story the way You want it told!
Linda is a member of the Canadian Association for Photographic Art (CAPA).
